Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use PrepFlow.
• Mandatory Registration: To access any features of the app, you must create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information during registration.

2. Subscriptions, Trials & Payments

• Subscription-Only Access: PrepFlow is a paid service. Access to all features and content requires an active, valid subscription.
• Billing via Apple: All subscriptions are processed as In-App Purchases through the Apple App Store. Your payment relationship is directly with Apple.
• Subscription Plans: We offer Monthly and Annual subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed within the app prior to purchase.
• 7-Day Free Trial (Annual Plan): The Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new users.
• Auto-Renewal: Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the 7-day trial period, the trial will automatically convert into a paid annual subscription, and your Apple ID account will be charged the full annual fee.
• Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID Settings. Following cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.

3. Right of Withdrawal (EU/Austria)

• Digital Content: By purchasing a subscription and requesting immediate access to the Service, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract.
• Waiver of Right: You acknowledge and agree that by gaining immediate access to the digital content, you waive and lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal provided under EU consumer protection laws.

4. Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust our subscription fees. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect.

• Notification: Notice will be sent via email to the address associated with your account and/or through a prominent notification within the app.
• If you do not agree to the price change, you must cancel your subscription before the new price is billed at the next renewal date.

5. Nature of Service

PrepFlow is a meal-planning tool that utilizes AI-driven suggestions to help users organize "Bases" and "Remixes."

• Availability: We do not guarantee 100% uptime of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content included in the Service, including but not limited to:

• The "PrepFlow Method" (Bases & Remixes system),
• All recipes, text, and instructional guides,
• All images (including AI-generated visuals),
• Software code, logos, and UI/UX design,

...is the exclusive intellectual property of Julian Doppelhofer. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not scrape, copy, or redistribute our recipes or system without written consent.

7. No User-Generated Content

Currently, PrepFlow does not allow users to upload, post, or share their own content (recipes, photos, or comments) within the app. The Service is a curated experience provided by us.

8. Disclaimers & "Cook at Your Own Risk"

While we want your cooking to feel like "jazz," safety is priority.

• AI Suggestions: Our Remixes and Prep actions are generated or assisted by AI. These are suggestions for inspiration and may occasionally be inaccurate.
• Food Safety: You are solely responsible for the safe handling, storage, and cooking of food. We are not liable for any illness (e.g., food poisoning), allergic reactions, or injuries resulting from following recipes or AI suggestions.
• Nutritional Accuracy: Any nutritional information or dietary tags are estimates. Always verify ingredients if you have specific medical or dietary requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law, Julian Doppelhofer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to "failed" meals, loss of data, or hardware issues. Our liability is limited to cases of gross negligence or intent.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria.

Place of Jurisdiction: For all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms, the competent court in Vienna (1120), Austria shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
